DAY 01 : ARRIVAL IN BALI

Welcome to Bali – Land of dreams! Upon arrival at Denpasar Airport, you will be met by our representative who will assist you with the transfer to your hotel in Bali and then relax for the rest of the day.

DAY 02 : ART VILLAGES, WATERFALL, KINTAMANI VOLCANO TOUR ( B, L )

Have a delicious breakfast and set out to explore the beautiful attractions of Bali. Start your day with convenient pickup directly from your hotel, grab a window seat as you ride into the countryside.

Stop at Batubulan village, famed for its stone statues and sculptures. While there, watch the lively Barong and Kris Dance, a piece of Balinese mythology with ornate costumes, traditional dancing, and unique musical instruments.

The 12th century classical tale of good versus evil, Calon Arang, serves as the backdrop for the Barong and Kris dance.

The Barong, a benevolent spirit in beast form must protect a kingdom against the vengeful wrath of the widow and witch queen, Rangda.

This dance is the classic example of Balinese way of acting out mythology, resulting in myth and history being blended into one reality.

The climactic scene has the palace guards in trance, turning on themselves by screaming and stabbing their chests fiercely with their kris daggers, but without harm due to the black magic.

After the show we will take you to visit Tohpati village is widely known as the center of handmade Balinese Batik weaving.

Batik is very special art, which requires a lot of patience and skill. It is a traditional fabric printing.

The word „Batik“ means „drawing with wax.“ The technique must be thousands of years old. It is proved that this art already appeared in the first centuries in Africa, the Middle East and Asia.

As you come over this site, you will learn many things on how locals express their mind through the pattern of beautiful batik starting from making design, waxing, giving colour and drying the batik after it undergo the long process.

Next stop is Celuk village famous for producing high-grade gold and silver handicrafts.

The village located in Gianyar Regency has the uniqueness and excellent in production of gold and silver handicrafts.

Almost all the families and villagers are Balinese who professional, skilled and art soul to develop the creative design and variety of products related to the gold and silvers.

This craft village with long historical has been producing gold and silvers that penetrating the local, national and international markets.

Continue trip to Mas Village, one of the many artists villages surrounding Ubud, is the best place on the island to find high-quality Balinese woodcarvings, considered some of the best woodcarvings in the world.

Visitors to Mas Village will find a style of woodcarving characterised by a synergy between humanism and naturalism.

Balinese masks, as well as carvings inspired by Buddhist and Hindu mythologies, are among the more popular items.

Even if you don’t plan to buy, it’s worth visiting Mas Village to watch the masters at work and to see some of the large and very impressive carvings.

Head next to Tegenungan Waterfall is one of the most famous waterfall in Bali, that located in the south of Ubud.

Next, your guide takes you into the highlands of Kintamani volcano, is a name of countryside located in the hill and the beautiful panorama surround it.

We can see beautiful panorama from Kintamani to overview the active volcano of Mount Baturand wide Lake of Batur in a valley.

It is situated in the plateau area with cool weather surround it. When we stand up at Kintamani, we will be able to see the rural area which is close to the lake. This place is very famous and visited by many tourists everyday.

Relax in the cold mountain breeze, and then enjoy your buffet lunch, that served at a delightful restaurant, which direct by the view of the volcano and it’s crater lake.

Head to the village of Temen and join a walking tour into the local Coffee farm.

Get a behind-the-scenes look at the roasting process, especially Coffee Luwak which is mainly produced in the Indonesian Archipelago.

Drive to the Tegalalang village, the most beautiful view of rice terraces. Meet local farmers planting and harvesting and then learn about Subak.

A traditional and ecologically sustainable irrigation system that combines the realms of spirits, humans, and nature.

At the end of the day head to Ubud Palace, officially Puri Saren Agung. The palace is very beautiful with artistic traditional building and contains the high aesthetics value.

The dynamics of creative arts and a rich culture creates the perfect getaway to experience a different side of Bali in addition to the natural attractions on the island.

Then cross the road to the Ubud Market, is the best art market in Bali, where you can find beautiful silk scarves, lightweight shirts, handmade woven bags, baskets or hats; statues, kites and many other hand-crafted goods.

Spend some time checking out the crafts and pieces on offer and browse for souvenirs from local artists, before heading back to your hotel.

DAY 03 : WATER SPORTS, PANDAWA BEACH, ULUWATU TEMPLE TOUR ( B, L, D )

Place to visit: Tenjung Benoa beach (water sport), Pandawa beach, Uluwatu temple, Kecak & fire dance, Jimbaran bay.

After breakfast at hotel, picked up from your hotel and drive to Tanjung Benoa Beach a beautiful place blessed by the panoramic view of the sea with calm seawater.

Start your day of adventure by taking to the water on an inflatable Banana Boat Ride is the exciting water activities ride on the rubber boat in form of Banana and pulled by the speed boat.

After lunch will take you to visit Pandawa Beach is a beautiful white sandy beach situated in the valley of white stone cliff, locally referred to as ‘Pantai Pandawa’, located on Bali’s southern Bukit Peninsula.

The beach is very beautiful with clear water apposite to Indian Ocean offering the exotic panorama, fresh sea breeze and peaceful atmosphere.

The sides remained as high walls, while the ocean-facing cliffs midway down the slope feature deeply carved arches installed with large statues.

They each depict the hero characters from the Mahabharata epic, known as Pandawa Lima or the ‘five Pandawas’, hence the name of the beach.

There are six white stone statues draped in colourful Balinese waistcloths, namely Dewi Kunti, the mother figure from the epic.

And the five heroes: Dharmawangsa (also known by the name Yudhistira), Bima, Arjuna, Nakula and Sahadewa.

Continue trip to Uluwatu Temple or Pura Luhur Uluwatu is incredible cliff temple in Bali.

Perched on a cliff, 229 feet (70m) above the crashing Indian Ocean, the distinctive structure provides a postcard-perfect backdrop for memorable photos.

Uluwatu temple has particular religious significance: Dhang Hyang Dwijendra, a pilgrim who founded the current form of Hindu-Dharma in the 15th century, lived his last days here. It’s believed that he achieved “moksa,” or unity with god, while meditating at this site.

A small forest lies at the front and hundreds of monkeys dwell here. They are believed to guard the temple from bad influences.

The serpentine pathway to the temple is fortified by concrete walls on the cliff side. It takes about an hour to get from one end to another as there are several fenced points along the way to stop.

The views from the bottom of the water surging up against rocks and the ocean horizon are remarkable.

While you here you also have opportunity to watch the most famous dance in Bali, Kecak and Fire Dance is a captivating traditional Balinese art performance.

Which also goes by, ‘the monkey chant dance’, and loosely ‚fire dance‘, for its occasional use of fire as a centrepiece prop.

Kecak and Fire Dance is unique in that it has no other musical background or accompaniment besides the chanting of male dancers, intoning a “keh-chack” polyrhythmic choir during most of the performance.

Kecak’s storyline is taken from the Ramayana Hindu epic and it’s often on the entertainment schedule of almost every Balinese arts and culture venue.

At the end of the day head to Jimbaran beach and the famous Jimbaran Bay are on Bali’s southwestern coast.

The beach is part of the narrow isthmus connecting the Bali mainland and the Bukit Peninsula. The beach and the bay of Jimbaran offers small secluded areas.

The tranquility and peace you can find here can be a perfect antidote to a stressful world.

The land gently slopes away from the beach revealing exclusive celebrity haunts. Some are hidden under a canopy of leafy coconut palm groves.

Enjoy a beautiful scenic drive along the island’s mountains and highlands. On the way stop at Taman Ayun Temple is a landmark in the village of Mengwi, Badung regency, located 17km northwest of Denpasar.

Taman Ayun Temple is also one of six royal temples in Bali making it very important both spiritually and historically. The temple’s name Taman Ayun translates to the ‘Garden Temple in the Water’.

This temple complex boasts magnificent traditional architectural features throughout its courtyards and enclosures as well as expansive garden landscapes comprised of lotus and fish ponds.

From there, continue to visit Bedugul, a pleasant mountain village on Lake Bratan. Gain a fascinating insight into the culture of the real Bali as you visit the local Candi Kuning Market.

While here, enjoy the array of fresh fruits, vegetables, spices, and exotic flora, including wild orchids and roses.

Afterward, enjoy your buffet lunch at a lakeside restaurant. At the end of your lunch, take a short walk to the shore of the lake, then visit an amazing Pura Ulun Danu Bratan Temple.

Discover a different angle of this magnificent water temple as you approach and see the temple standing proudly, embracing the lake as it laps at its foundations.

The temple was built in the 17th century in worship of the main Hindu trinity, Brahma-Vishnu-Shiva, as well as the lake goddess, Dewi Danu.

At the end of the day head to Tanah Lot Temple (Indonesian: Pura Tanah Lot) is as iconic as the island of Bali.

This temple dedicated to the God of Sea, which has a breathtaking natural splendor, it stands on solid sea rock overlooking the Indian ocean.

The temple also considered as one of the most important landmarks in Bali with its unique surroundings and is said to have been founded by the 16th century priest Nirarha.

The image of Balinese temples on the rock facing the wide open ocean, perched high above the crashing waves below.

North of Tanah Lot is Batu Bolong Temple, similarly built on a rock formation with a ‘hollow’ overpass linking to the mainland.

DAY 05 : GATE of HEAVEN at LEMPUYANG TEMPLE, EAST BALI TOUR ( B, L )

Place to visit: Kertha Gosa, Goa Lawah temple, Candidasa, Tirta Gangga, Lempuyang temple.

Breakfast at hotel, then get morning pick up from your hotel and travel eastward toward Klungkung District to visit the Kertha Gosa, forms part of the Puri Semarapura royal palace.

Complex and features two main structures – a grand hall or the namesake Bale Kertha Gosa with ceilings filled with Kamasan or wayang-style paintings, and the Bale Kambang ‘floating‘ hall or pavillion that’s surrounded by a moat.

Features spacious and open halls inside a walled compound. Unique and traditional Balinese architecture can be seen throughout the gates, walls and main structures.

Next to, Pura Goa Lawah is one of the unique and most picturesque temple in Bali.

It features a complex built around a cave opening that is inhabited by hordes of bats, and its name translates to ‚Bat Cave Temple’.

This temple was established in the 11th century by Mpu Kuturan, one of early priests who laid the foundations of Hinduism on the island.

Two large banyan trees stand tall at the main entrance of Pura Goa Lawah. Upon entering the temple’s central courtyard, you will see three bale pavilions in three corners of the complex.

These bale are usually where fruit offerings are placed and where gamelan bands play during major ceremonies.

From there, continue to Candidasa is the most popular beach resort along Bali’s east coast.

It’s where you can enjoy a quiet seaside escape, far from the crowds and busier traffic scenes of the island’s south.

After that we will take you to Tirta Gangga Water Palace also known locally as Taman Tirta Gangga, is a former water palace of Karangasem empire which one of east Bali’s most famous sights.

Situated about 6 kilometres north of the town of Amlapura, which feature 1.2ha of pools, ponds and fountains surrounded by tropical gardens.

Breathtaking scenery with lush rice paddies back three levels of ornamental gardens with swimming pools, fountains, stone carvings, stepping stones, fish ponds, and airy pavilions.

At the end of the day head to the majestic Lempuyang Temple. This is one of Bali’s oldest and most respected temples, as well recently become Instagram famous and known to the western world as „The Gateway to Heaven“.

This temple within the highlands of Mount Lempuyang, which sitting at a cool 1,775m above sea level, which is easy access or only about a 20 minutes walk from the parking area.

Snap some magical shots of the Gates of Heaven at Pura Lempuyang Temple with the clouds and the majestic Mount Agung in the background before you are conveniently returned to your hotel.
