This longer itinerary gives you the uncommon chance to see all part of the park in one smooth trip, from the fast northern currents to the peaceful, macro-rich southern bays and the untamed western reaches. Dive in famous places like Batu Bolong, Castle Rock, and Crystal Rock, where nutrient-rich upwellings make a stunning theatre of activity with schooling trevallies, enormous trevally, patrolling reef sharks, and graceful manta rays gliding over colourful coral pinnacles. The Seven Seas liveaboard makes sure that you visit these famous places at the best times for tides, which means you will see more of the pelagic action that has made Komodo a top diving spot.
This 12-day trip shows off the quieter treasures of Komodo National Park, like the pristine reefs of Tatawa Besar, the beautiful pink sands of Pink Beach, and the sheltered bays of Sebayur and Nusa Kode. Macro enthusiasts can look for rare creatures like hairy frogfish, ornate ghost pipefish, flamboyant cuttlefish, and blue-ringed octopus in these bays. The full schedule lets you visit the park’s southern muck diving locations and northern pinnacles more than once. You can also explore the less-frequented western islands, where unspoiled reefs give you a sense of true discovery. The trip also includes the once-in-a-lifetime chance to go on land excursions to see the famous Komodo dragons in their native environment, which adds a whole new level to your journey. Night dives show you a world of hunting cuttlefish, sleeping parrotfish, and hard-to-find mandarinfish, which makes your experience much better. On the Seven Seas liveaboard, expert guides who know Komodo’s constantly changing conditions inside and out, comfortable accommodations, and a love of discovery come together to create the ultimate Komodo safari. This is the perfect trip for divers who want to fully and unforgettable explore one of the world’s most amazing marine destinations.
