We start the day at the Tamangui Ridge dive site, renowned for its incredible variety of marine life and beautiful coral formations. Early morning is the best time to catch the reef as it awakens, with schools of fish, reef sharks, and possibly even some larger pelagics making an appearance. After this refreshing dive, enjoy a hearty breakfast onboard as you prepare for the next adventure.
Following breakfast, we head shore for a trek to the Tamangui Ridge 2, for a different view of the vibrant reef.
The day ends at Wofo to explore its steep wall and the vibrant soft and hard corals. We will end the day with a night dive at Wofo for a chance to see Wobbegongs and octopus.
Our day begins at The Passage, located between Gam and Waigeo, the canyon-like dive site is known for its schools of fusiliers and jacks, moray eels, cuttlefish fish and more.
Later, we take on the action-packed Batu Dalum, or known as the Five Rocks, where we may see black tip and white tip reef sharks, schools of Barracudas, vibrant, colorful corals, and sea fans.
To wrap up the day, explore the beautiful Batu Lima or Five Rocks, known for its unique rock formations, rich marine life, and a great spot for macro.
Melissa’s Garden Dive Site is undoubtedly the top dive in this area, with a staggering number of coral and fish species packed into this small piece of marine real estate. It gets its name from an amazing hard coral garden situated on a reef between 3 small islands. Its beauty needs to be seen to be believed.
After breakfast, we continue to Keruo Channel for a gentle drift dive along its picturesque walls. This site features crystal-clear waters teeming with schools of fusiliers and trevallies, and you might even spot a passing reef shark. The calm conditions make it a perfect opportunity to appreciate the rich marine ecosystem.
One of our other favorite dive spots is Batu Rufus, where a dramatic drop-off extends beyond 40 meters into the deep blue. The views are stunning, especially at around 20 meters, where the stark landscape creates a mesmerizing contrast as you float in the open water. And, of course, no trip to this area is complete without visiting the iconic limestone pinnacles. Piaynemo Lagoon, with its stunning formations, is one of the best places to hike for a view, especially in the late afternoon when the temperature drops.
The My Reef dive site is known always as a very fishy dive and never fails to disappoint, including barracuda’s, wobbegongs and black tip reef sharks. Our next dive is Manta Sandy, a serene dive site where we have the chance to observe majestic manta rays as they visit the cleaning stations in this calm, sandy-bottomed site. It’s an unforgettable experience to watch these graceful giants glide overhead.
In the afternoon, take a break from diving and head out on a trek to Kali Biru where the lush rainforest meets crystal-clear waters. The trek offers breathtaking viewpoints overlooking Raja Ampat’s stunning seascape, a perfect complement to your underwater exploration. It’s a refreshing way to cap off your adventure-packed day in the heart of this tropical paradise.
This evening we celebrate our memorable trip with a rooftop barbeque with time to reminisce of Raja Ampat’s underwater paradise.
