Be a MemberYour trip on promises an immersive encounter amid the stunning diversity of Indonesia’s archipelago. The first peace of Moyo and Satonda Islands offers a mild introduction and offers both leisure as well as the chance to discover the beauties of nature via an engaging hike to Satonda’s saltwater lake. From the amazing creatures around Sangeyang’s volcanic slopes to the wealth of marine life in Komodo National Park’s pinnacles and vivid coral reefs, every stop reveals a different underwater show as you go.
The shift from the warm waters in the North to the cooler temperatures in the South reflects the shifting terrain both above and below the sea’s surface. With its breathtaking coral formations and abundance of marine life—including the elegant manta ray and, sometimes the elusive sunfish—Nusa Kode is one of my favorites. Your journey ends in a meeting with the last surviving dinosaur, the Komodo Dragons, which gives this amazing journey some wildness. Your trip will be unforgettable because of the rich picture of nature’s beauties created by the varied species of the National Park, from wild horses to macaque monkeys, beside these ancient reptiles.

Your first day is merely to get you comfortable in your new apartment. You will be rocked to sleep on your first night, and we will be heading to the Moyo and Satonda Islands. On Satonda, we have a fantastic trail leading to its saltwater lake. An eruption at a 1000-meter depth forms the island. Starting to explore the incredible species present in this never-ending Archipelago by diving around this island is rather interesting.
We will stop on another volcanic island Sangeyang, last erupted in 2015. Still a few islanders live on this island. The dive is just amazing. Excellent macro on black sandy slopes are here. One-of- a-kind diving, Hot Rocks creates a never-seen-before impact by tiny small bubbles rising from the bottom and the rocks.
Arriving at Komodo National Park in the North, where the water from the Flores Sea often is still cool and pleasant. On these underwater pinnacles, fish abound; schooling surgeons, big eye jacks, snapper or barracudas, pelagic are a regular sight. Komodo boasts an amazing variety of locations. From underwater pinnacles to sloping sandy bottoms with manta cleaning stations to driving beside a stunning coral reef.
The sea temperature will also dip further southward. Among her favorites is Nusa Kode. The corals are amazing since the Indian Ocean supplies many nutrients into this horseshoe-shaped inlet. In terms of scale as much as in the rainbow of hues. Fish abound and species you could never have seen in your life could remind you of the monsters you used to know from your childhood under your bed.
Bigger pelagic fish like the magnificent manta ray are also brought by these nutrients. They are either chasing each other or getting cleaned at the cleaning station. Furthermore reported are sightings of the elusive Mola Mola sunfish.
Without encountering the Komodo Dragons, the last surviving dinosaurs, your journey is incomplete. The National Park will provide the opportunity to see them up close. Luck will also bring you the macaque monkeys, some deer, wild pigs, and wild horses.
