Be a MemberWith the Aurora liveaboard 12D11N voyage from Ambon to Kaimana, a route designed for the daring diver looking for the unknown, set off on a trailblazing frontier adventure. With this exclusive itinerary, three of Indonesia’s most distinctive and renowned marine locations are combined into a single, epic journey. Start in Ambon Bay, a famous muck diving destination where you may capture iconic macro subjects including unique nudibranchs, psychedelic frogfish, and Ambon scorpionfish. From there, the Aurora liveaboard navigates the Banda Sea’s open waters, which offer exhilarating, current-driven dives with breathtaking volcanic seascapes as a setting for pelagic action. In the lush, isolated seas, you will come across schools hammerheads, stunning eagle rays, and patrolling reef sharks while diving ancient locations teeming with fish.
Entering the tranquil and largely uncharted marine wilderness of Kaimana, the southern entrance to the Raja Ampat environment, is the real climax of this liveaboard diving expedition. Kaimana offers pristine coral walls, breathtaking fauna, and a genuine sense of discovery, all while being far from the more popular northern routes. Dive destinations like Triton Bay offer the opportunity to see whale sharks and mysterious walking sharks (epaulette sharks), as well as stunning soft coral colonies and old rock structures. The ideal platform for this adventure is the Aurora liveaboard, which combines the comfort required to reach these far-off places with knowledgeable local guiding. From microscopic to mega-fauna, from famous creature hotspots to the unexplored coral capitals of Indonesia’s last frontier, this 12-day voyage is more than just a diving vacation.

My wife and I loved the trip. Dive sites are wonderful and the service of the staff is very good. We didn’t have to take care of anything, everything was provided. I am 1.9m tall (6’3″) and the bed we had were big enough for me to have a good night sleep and also to shower well.
