This Aurora liveaboard safari has a planned route that is also customizable, so you can see famous places like Cape Kri and Manta Sandy as well as hidden reefs where biodiversity is at its highest in beautiful, quiet seclusion.
These extra days at sea give you a deeper, more complex grasp of Raja Ampat’s marine tapestry. You’ll see how marine life changes from one area to the next, from thrilling shark encounters at current-swept pinnacles to quiet macro moments in calm bays full with pygmy seahorses and unique nudibranchs. Marine Life: A striking characteristic in Raja Ampat biology is the tight relationship between different ecosystems. The tropical rainforest conquers the sea by pushing itself out through a complex system of small islands. Looking towards the top from the border of the reef, you can see the dark green of the forest, in a symbolic sight.
Day 1: Sorong
Our staff will welcome you at the airport and you will start your experience in Aurora. From Jakarta or Makassar, flights usually arrive early in the morning. As soon as all the guests are on board, we will lift the anchor and start our trip to the island of Waigeo.
Days 2 to 3: Dampier Strait
Around the strait, we will dive into some famous sites, such as “Mioskon,” “Blue Magic”, “Sardines” and other amazing places. Prone to currents, this area is characterized by untouched corals and all kinds of schools of fish. On the surface, green islands and marvelous white sand beaches will surround us.
Day 4: Penemu
“Melissa’s Garden” will be one of the beautiful reefs We will visit today. Wobbegong sharks are one of the highlights here. Sea snakes, pygmy seahorses, and huge tridacna clams can be seen also in the shallow waters. We will have the opportunity to step out of the boat for a walk to see one of the most iconic views in Raja Ampat, It is selfie time!
Day 5: Farondi
Wake up in the Misool National Park, an area with thousands of islands. Here you will be able to see a wide variety of fish, soft and hard corals, and all kinds of macro, wobbegong, and bamboo sharks. Misool is also one of the rare places, where the landscape is absolutely wonderful. Do not miss the show of the mobulas feeding on schools of silversides!
Days 6 to 8: Misool National Park
So many Islands to visit and so many different dive spots. We will cruise around JILLIET, FIABACET, WALIB, WAJIL, JEF PELE, and BOO among others, where Aurora Crew will assure you as many dives as possible to completely appreciate this wonderful and beautiful area.
Day 9: Daram
This group of Islands just on the border of Misool Marine Park is the perfect spot to make 2-morning dives and say goodbye for this time to Raja Ampat …. Sure you will be back
Day 10: Sorong
After a nice breakfast on board, our Aurora crew will organize your transfer to the airport of Sorong, according to your flight schedules. Unfortunately, our trip will arrive at an end and we have to say goodbye but we hope to see you again on board.

Kawe is one of Raja Ampat’s true gems, situated just in the Equator line, and is loaded with some remarkable diving. The top sites, however, are Eagle Rock, Black Rock, and Changoo.
Days 6 to 7: Wayag
This Idyllic landscape is known for its beautiful atolls and wonderful underwater life. A paradise on earth that includes narrow channels and inlets, sandy beaches, coves, and lagoons surrounded by jagged rocks covered by leafy Vegetation. Overwhelmed location by the rich underwater environment and by breathtaking panorama views.
Day 8: Pyanemu

Batanta is one of the four kings and dives paradise for small creatures lovers but not everything is small here and encounters with the majestic manta rays are common here. Busy day, keep your eyes open!
Day 10: Back to Sorong
After a nice breakfast on board, our Aurora crew will organize your transfer to the airport of Sorong, according to your flight schedules. Unfortunately, our trip will arrive at an end and we have to say goodbye but we hope to see you again on board.

Wundervolle erste liveaboard-Erfahrung.
Die Aurora war für uns eine wunderbare erste liveaboard-Erfahrung. Eine unglaublich freundliche Crew kümmert sich um einfach alles. Die kleinen breefings zu Mantas, Korallen, Raja Ampat und auch die gemelnsame Müllsammelaktion an einem Strand zeigen, wie wichtig es dem Tour-Manager ist, dieses Paradies zu erhalten. Sehr gut geplante Tauchgänge und kleine Ausflüge zu den beeindruckenden viewpoints wechselten sich wunderbar ab. Und der warme Kakao von Jane nach dem Nachttauchgang war grandios! Auch bei Problemen mit dem Rückflug am Abreisetag wurden wir unterstützt bis das Problem gelöst war, wofür wir sehr dankbar waren.
