Be a MemberTake the Aurora liveaboard 12D11N voyage from Ambon, the macro haven, to Raja Ampat, the reef kingdom, for the ultimate Coral Triangle adventure. This one-of-a-kind tour is for the picky diver who wants to see the two most famous, yet very distinct, examples of Indonesian underwater perfection. Start your voyage in Ambon Bay, a world-famous muck diving paradise with lots of nutrients. Here, your focus will change to the little and the amazing. On dramatic black sand slopes, look for legendary creatures like the Ambon scorpionfish, rhinopias, wonderpus, and flamboyant cuttlefish. You may also learn how to take great macro photos in one of the most productive aquatic studios on Earth.
After this intense macro immersion, the Aurora liveaboard takes you northwest to Raja Ampat, the most biodiverse place on Earth and the heart of marine life. The view changes here to a beautiful scene of islands covered in vegetation, blue lagoons, and colorful coral reefs full of fish. Dive in famous places like Cape Kri and The Passage, where you’ll be surrounded by schools of fish, reef sharks, and graceful manta rays, all set against a backdrop of beautiful hard corals. This 12-day safari is the best of both worlds for divers: the slow, careful thrill of the muck and the breathtaking beauty of Raja Ampat’s busy reefs. The Aurora liveaboard makes this life-changing trip possible by providing seamless comfort and skilled navigation. It takes you on a full and bucket-list-worthy exploration of Indonesia’s underwater extremes.
