With towering walls, schools of trevallies, and encounters with enormous groupers, the dives around Koon promised thrill. Deeply ingrained in history, Banda Neira greeted you with a combination of cultural discovery and dives bursting with aquatic richness.
Pulau Hatta and Karang Hatta displayed sloping reefs with vertical cliffs alive with the dance of fusiliers, dogtooth tuna, eagle ray, barracudas, and sporadic sharks. The reefs were lined with soft coral, leather coral, big-eye trevallies, and turtles, so producing a rainbow of hues under the surface.
The Aurora staff coordinated flawless transportation to the airport, signifying the end of this remarkable journey as the path gently slid towards its finish in Ambon, a country of spices and historical mystery. Though saying goodbye is unavoidable, the optimism for next meetings on board is still strong since the shared times of surprise and awe under the waves inspire us.
