As your incredible 11-day expedition aboard the Blue Manta draws to a close, it’s time to reflect on the extraordinary adventures and unforgettable moments you’ve experienced exploring the enchanting waters of Raja Ampat, Fak Fak, and Triton Bay.

From the moment you were warmly welcomed by our staff at Sorong Airport or your local hotel, every detail of your journey has been carefully curated to ensure a seamless and immersive diving experience.

Over the past eleven days, you’ve delved into the vibrant underwater world of Southern Raja Ampat, navigating through the awe-inspiring dive sites of Misool, Pisang Island, Fak Fak, and Triton Bay. Each day has been filled with exhilarating dives, from exploring colorful coral gardens to encountering majestic marine creatures like mantas and sharks.

Beyond the underwater marvels, you’ve had the opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich cultural tapestry of West Papua, from swimming under the cascading Kiti-Kiti waterfall to snorkeling with whale sharks off Namatota Island.

As you prepare to bid farewell to the Blue Manta and the pristine waters of West Papua, take a moment to savor the memories of your journey and the friendships forged along the way. Itenerary

Dives: Approximately 25 dives in total

Experience: Advanced Open Water – 50 minimum logged dives required.

Labuan Bajo - Alor

Day 1: (1-2 dives)

3:00 pm: Our staff will meet you upon your arrival at Komodo Airport or the local hotel and transfer you to Blue Manta. Depending on arrival time, we do check dive(s) at Bidadari.
Night dive at Pulau Sebayor.

Day 2: (4 dives)

South Komodo: Manta Alley to fly with mantas, Cannibal Rock, Torpedo Alley at Nusa Kode.

Day 3: (3-4 dives)

South Komodo, Padar Island: one of our favorite regions in the park with some stunning and diverse dive sites such as 3 Sisters and Pillarsteen.
Plus, a visit to Pink Beach.

Day 4: (4 dives)

North Komodo: Castle Rock, Crystal Rock, & Shot Gun at Gili Lawa Laut. Pinnacles, drift dives full of action with hunting fish: jacks & sharks!

Day 5: (3 dives)

North Komodo: Batu Balong & Mantas on the Moon (Makassar Reef).
This is followed by a walk on the wide side in search of Komodo Dragons, and trekking on one of the local Islands.

Day 6: (3 dives)

Maumere: Nearby Pulau Babi and Pulau Besar.
Sail to Alor.

Day 7-8: (3-4 dives x2 days)

Alor & Pantar Strait (Islands of Kepa, Pura, Ternate, & Buaya between Pantar & Alor); nutrient-rich adventurous currents and diversity of dive site formations, make for an abundance of coral and fish, both big and small. We may visit a local village and substitute for a dive.

Day 9: (2 dives)

Alor: Chance to repeat final 2 dives.
Then we sail back to Alor, where you spent last night on Blue Manta in Kalabahi Port.
Plenty of time to wash & dry equipment, rest & relax, and if need be.
An early flight on trip departure day.

Day 10: (0 dives)

5:00 am -12:00 pm: Check out after light breakfast & farewells.
We transfer to a local hotel or airport in time for check-in & flight. Take your pre-booked flight to Bali or Jakarta, via Kupang.

Alor - Labuan Bajo

Day 2-3: (3-4 dives x 2 days)

Alor & Pantar Strait (Islands of Kepa, Pura, Ternate, & Buaya between Pantar & Alor); nutrient-rich adventurous currents and diversity of dive site formations, make for an abundance of coral and fish, both big and small.
We may visit a local village and substitute for a dive.
Sail to Maumere.

Day 4: (3 dives)

Maumere: Nearby Pulau Babi and Pulau Besar.
Sail to Komodo.

Day 5: (4 dives)

South Komodo: Manta Alley to fly with mantas, Cannibal Rock, Torpedo Alley at Nusa Kode.

Day 6: (3-4 dives)

South Komodo, Padar Island: one of our favorite regions in the park with some stunning and diverse dive sites such as 3 Sisters and Pillarsteen.
Plus, a visit to Pink Beach.

Day 7: (4 dives)

This is followed by a walk on the wide side in search of Komodo Dragons and trekking on one of the local Islands.
Then we sail towards Labuan Bajo, where you spend the last night on Blue Manta in Bajo Port.
Plenty of time to wash & dry equipment, have lunch, rest & relax, and if need be.
An early flight on trip departure day.

Day 10: (0 dives)

5:00 am-12:00 pm: Check out after light breakfast & farewells, we transfer to a local hotel or airport in time for check-in & flight.
Take your pre-booked flight from Labuan Bajo to Bali or Jakarta.
