From the moment you were greeted by our dedicated staff at Komodo Airport or your local hotel, to the final farewells as you disembark in Kalabahi Port, every aspect of your expedition has been meticulously crafted to offer an unparalleled experience.
Over the past eleven days, you’ve explored a diverse array of dive sites, from the exhilarating encounters with majestic mantas at Manta Alley to the mesmerizing drift dives at Castle Rock and Crystal Rock. Each dive has been a testament to the breathtaking beauty and biodiversity of the underwater world.
Beyond the underwater wonders, your journey has been enriched by visits to stunning locales such as Padar Island, Pink Beach, and local villages, providing insights into the rich cultural tapestry of the region.
As you trekked in search of Komodo Dragons and explored the rugged landscapes of the local islands, you’ve been immersed in the natural splendor of Indonesia’s remote archipelagos.
As you bid farewell to the Blue Manta Liveaboard and the enchanting waters of Komodo, Maumere, Alor, and the Pantar Strait, take a moment to cherish the memories of the past eleven days’ adventures and the friendships forged along the way. Experience: Open Water – 50 minimum logged dives required.
Day 1: (1-2 dives)
At 3 pm, our staff will meet you upon your arrival at Komodo Airport or a local hotel and transfer you to the awaiting vessel. Depending on arrival time, we do check dive(s) at Bidadari and night dive at Pulau Sebayor.
Day 2: (4 dives)
South Komodo: Manta Alley to fly with mantas, Cannibal Rock, Torpedo Alley at Nusa Kode.
Day 3: (3-4 dives)
South Komodo, Padar Island: one of our favorite regions in the park with some stunning and diverse dive sites such as 3 Sisters and Pillarsteen. Plus, visit to Pink Beach.
Day 4: (4 dives)
North Komodo: Castle Rock, Crystal Rock, & Shot Gun at Gili Lawa Laut. Pinnacles, drift dives full of action with hunting fish: jacks & sharks!
Day 5: (3 dives)
North Komodo: Batu Balong & Mantas on the Moon (Makassar Reef). This will be followed by a walk on the wide side in search of Komodo Dragons, and trekking on one of the local Islands.
Day 6: (4 dives)
North Komodo: Tatawa Besar & Kecil, Siaba Kecil, & Wainilu. Tons of Anthias, Napoleon wrasse, sharks, & excellent night dive.
Day 7: (3 dives)
Maumere: nearby Pulau Babi and Pulau Besar. Sail to Alor.
Day 8-9: (3-4 dives each day)
Alor & Pantar Strait (Islands of Kepa, Pura, Ternate, & Buaya between Pantar & Alor); nutrient-rich adventurous currents and diversity of dive site formations, make for an abundance of coral and fish, both big and small. We may visit a local village and substitute for a dive.
Day 10: (2 dives)
Alor; chance to repeat final 2 dives. Then we sail back to Alor, where you will spend your last night on the vessel in Kalabahi Port. Plenty of time to wash & dry equipment, rest & relax, and if necessary, make early flight arrangements for the trip departure day.
Day 11: (0 dives)
From 5 am to 12 pm: Check-out will take place after a light breakfast and farewells. You will then be transferred to a local hotel or the airport. From there, you can catch your pre-booked flight to Bali or Jakarta, via Kupang.
Day 1:
(0-2 dives) 1-3 pm. The staff will meet you at Mali Airport or a local hotel and transfer you to Blue Manta at Kalabahi Port. Depending on arrival time, you’ll do a local check dive plus a night dive.
Day 2-3:
(3-4 dives x2 days) Alor & Pantar Strait (Islands of Kepa, Pura, Ternate, & Buaya between Pantar & Alor); nutrient-rich adventurous currents and diversity of dive site formations, make for an abundance of coral and fish, both big and small. You may visit a local village and substitute for a dive. Sail to Maumere.
Day 4:
(3 dives) Maumere: Nearby Pulau Babi and Pulau Besar. Sail to Komodo.
Day 5:
(4 dives) South Komodo: Manta Alley to fly with mantas, Cannibal Rock, Torpedo Alley at Nusa Kode.
Day 6:

Then sail towards Labuan Bajo, where you spend the last night on Blue Manta in Bajo Port. Plenty of time to wash & dry equipment, have lunch, rest and relax, and if need be, an early flight on trip departure day.
Day 11:
(0 dives) 5 am-12 pm: Check out after light breakfast & farewells, transfer to local hotel or airport in time for check-in & flight. Take your pre-booked flight from Labuan Bajo to Bali or Jakarta.
