Be a MemberTake a Cheng Ho Liveaboard Private Charter on a 7D6N trip from Ambon, the muck-diving capital, to the Banda Islands, where you can see the ancient, reef-rich seas. This private charter is only for picky divers who want to see two of Indonesia’s most famous but different marine habitats in one smooth trip. You and your group will have the unique freedom to plan your own trip, balancing days spent hunting for Ambon’s famous rare creatures, like the psychedelic frogfish at Laha Bay, with days spent exploring the Banda Sea’s stunning walls, colorful coral gardens, and pelagic action at places like Banda Neira and Hatta Island. The famous Cheng Ho, with its huge deck space and classic style, becomes your own private expedition ship. A dedicated staff, a private chef, and professional guides will work around your schedule to make sure you have the perfect mix of muck diving and reef exploring.
The best way to get the most out of this diversified route is to choose a private charter. This gives you more freedom than scheduled group tours. Your week-long trip is planned around your group’s speed. You may spend a whole day becoming better at macro photography in Ambon’s nutrient-rich bays, then opt to chase hammerheads in Bandan currents or go on a cultural trip to 17th-century colonial fortifications on a whim. The Cheng Ho is a great place for both photographers and leisure divers since it is stable and has a lot of space. There is plenty of room for camera setups and relaxing between dives. This is the best liveaboard trip for anyone who want both the strange beauty of muck diving and the thrill of immaculate reefs, all in one unique, personalized trip. Call us immediately to start planning your private Spice Islands trip on a real Indonesian legend.
