Be a MemberStarting from Ambon, your twelve-day trip has been a fascinating discovery of the breathtaking underwater environment and varied terrain of the Indonesian archipelago. Daily dives—including night dives when feasible—have let you see the amazing aquatic species that calls these waters home.
Every day on board has been a symphony of undersea thrills mixed with activities including snorkelling, hiking, and local town visits. Every minute from the light breakfast that starts the day to the great dinners savored against the backdrop of the setting sun has been bursting with adventure and discovery.
The aquatic life one has come upon is really remarkable. From swarms of snapper to the magnificent bumphead parrotfish, from the elegant turtles to the elusive hammerhead and thresher shark, the underwater world has opened out before your eyes. While the silhouettes of mobula ray and the terrible sounds of whales and dolphins have left an enduring impact on this naval voyage, Moray eels, dog-toothed tuna, fusiliers, and jacks have danced in the currents.
Reflecting on the experiences made over this 12-day trip as you sailed back to Ambon, it is clear that this trip has been more than just exploration; it has been a deep engagement with the vivid life under the waves and the rich cultural tapestry of the nearby villages.
May these memories stay, reminding us of the infinite beauty hidden under the surface of the ocean and the experiences awaiting in the heart of Indonesia’s marine wonderland until the next trip. Travel safely and may the sea’s energy guide you on your adventures.
