Be a MemberAs we conclude this 12-day journey embarked from Kalabahi, our hearts are filled with the echoes of the enchanting underwater world and the diverse experiences that the Alor and Ambon regions have bestowed upon us. Each day has been a tapestry of excitement, discovery, and awe-inspiring encounters with marine life that dances in vibrant hues beneath the surface.
With an average of 3-4 dives per day, including the magical allure of night dives when the ocean transforms into a realm of mystery, this expedition has been a symphony of underwater delights. From the graceful ballet of snappers and bump head parrotfish to the thrilling presence of sharks, thresher sharks, and majestic Hammerheads, every dive has unfolded a new chapter in the story of the sea.
The days aboard were characterized by a rhythm of exploration – from the tranquility of light breakfasts to the exhilaration of morning dives, followed by hearty meals and the discovery of hidden gems beneath the waves. Diving, snorkeling, hiking, and village tours have painted a holistic picture of the regions’ beauty, both below and above sea level.
The diverse marine life, including the captivating silhouettes of turtles, the elegance of mobula rays, and the playful dances of dolphins, has left an indelible mark on our memories. The journey back to Ambon is not just a physical return but a nostalgic revisiting of the incredible moments we shared with the underwater wonders.
As we set sail for Ambon, we carry not only the logbooks filled with the imprints of our underwater escapades but also the camaraderie forged during our adventures. This expedition has been a celebration of the oceans, a tribute to the wonders concealed beneath the waves, and a testament to the indomitable spirit of exploration that unites us all. Until our next maritime rendezvous, may the echoes of the sea resonate in our hearts.
