Be a MemberAs the curtains fall on an extraordinary 10-day journey aboard the ILIKE Liveaboard, our seafaring odyssey through Raja Ampat has left an indelible mark on our hearts. Setting sail from Sorong on Day 1, we ventured into the night, bound for the wonders that awaited us in Misool.
Days 2 to 5 unfolded a mesmerizing chapter in Misool’s Daram Islands, Fiabacet, Boo Island, Wayilbatan, and Wagmab-Farondi. These underwater realms offered a symphony of dives—each revealing a kaleidoscope of marine life, from intricate coral formations to the vibrant dance of aquatic creatures. Misool, with its breathtaking seascapes, provided a canvas for unforgettable underwater moments.
Penemu Island on Day 6 and the subsequent days at Yangeffo Island and the famed Dampier Strait continued to weave a narrative of marine marvels. The nutrient-rich waters of the Dampier Strait unveiled larger-than-life encounters with giants of the sea, from trevallies and tuna to the awe-inspiring presence of Manta rays.
On the final day of diving, as we explored the depths of the Dampier Strait, we reflected on the diverse landscapes and vibrant ecosystems that have enriched our journey. The two dives on Day 9 served as a poignant farewell to the underwater wonders that have become our companions over the past days.
Disembarking in Sorong on Day 10, we carry with us a treasure trove of memories, from the silent beauty of Penemu Island to the exhilarating encounters in the Dampier Strait. ILIKE Liveaboard has been our vessel through this aquatic adventure, providing not just a mode of transportation but a floating haven that brought us closer to the pulse of Raja Ampat’s underwater symphony.
As we bid adieu to ILIKE and the enchanting waters of Raja Ampat, we carry not just the salt on our skin but a profound appreciation for the fragile yet resilient ecosystems beneath the surface. Until our paths cross again, may the echoes of these underwater wonders resonate in our hearts, beckoning us to return to the embrace of the Coral Triangle’s unparalleled beauty. Safe travels, fellow adventurers!
