Your group will have a custom itinerary that takes you to two of the most beautiful marine environments in the world. You’ll dive in Ambon’s famous Laha Bay, where you can see psychedelic frogfish and rhinopias, and then go to Raja Ampat’s famous sites, like Cape Kri’s fish-filled waters and Wayag’s stunning karst formations. The famous Sea Safari VI, known for its ability to travel on the ocean and its luxurious amenities, becomes your own research expedition ship. A dedicated crew, private chef, and expert marine guides will cater to your schedule throughout your 12-day journey, making sure that the conditions are perfect for both macro photography and wide-angle reef exploration.

This 12-day private charter is the best of its kind in Indonesia. You and your group will have complete freedom to explore each area: spend several days taking pictures of Raja Ampat’s mantas at Manta Sandy, plan long trips to Ambon’s black sand slopes to look for rare nudibranchs, set up cultural visits to remote villages, or do dedicated night dives to study marine behavior at night. The Sea Safari VI is perfect for long trips since it is very stable and has a lot of deck space. It has separate spaces for camera gear, scientific sampling, and relaxing between discoveries. This is the best trip for anyone who want to explore the ocean in depth and enjoy the best luxury. Ask today to plan your own trip through the heart of marine biodiversity on one of Indonesia’s most famous luxury liveaboards.

A photographer’s dream. It is also important to have a separate camera area with tables and charging stations. The guides are great at spotting animals and know how to set up a group for the greatest photographs without hurting the reef. This excursion gave me the best wide-angle and macro photos.
