3-4 daily guided dives around the Banda Sea travelling up to Raja Ampat.
Located in the heart of Indonesia, the Banda Sea remains relatively untouched offering spectacular diving on pristine reefs.
Ambon and the Banda Sea offer fantastic diving opportunities for both larger marine-life encounters and macro galore. Keen muck divers will be impressed by the wide-range of bizarre marine life such as frogfish, mandarin fish, ghost pipefish, harlequin shrimp, flamboyant cuttlefish, octopus, pygmy seahorse, stonefish, scorpionfish, and hundreds of different species of nudibranch.
Adding to the excitement, spinner dolphins, orcas, and blue, pilot, and humpback whales can also be seen here.
Raja Ampat is home to at least 75 percent of all coral species. Divers can expect a range of topography from soft corals and sea fans, to hard corals, seagrass beds, mangroves, shallow reefs, deep drop-offs, caves, black sand and white sand. Giant manta rays, sea turtles, sharks, cuttlefish, pipefish, various seahorse species and massive schools of reef fish are the norm, plus the delightful wobbegong sharks and epaulette sharks inhabit these waters too.
