The Sangihe Islands were proposed. Sadly, the route couldn’t be driven as planned because of the severe weather. But the other way to Gorantalo and back was still really pleasant. The undersea environment is mostly intact. Some of it is large, but there are also gorgeous corals and big fish. The personnel knows what they’re doing, is always happy, and is really helpful. The food was usually good and ample. Sadly, the good impression is ruined by the unfairly exorbitant shipping expenses. It wasn’t obvious where the tour would start when I booked it. So, 2x transport cost 100 euros. The firm couldn’t get me to the ship from where I was, but the hotel arranged the ride (costs 32 euros). It was then reported that it only went to the airport during the ride following check-out. In the end, I got back the 50 euros for the trip out and spent almost 6 euros more for the trip to the city. So, the cost of transportation is 56 euros. Three weeks before, the resort charged me 30 euros for the same journey on Lembeh. It’s not a lot of money, really just peanuts, but it makes people lose faith.
