This 11-day trip on the specially built MV Tiare is carefully planned to show off the archipelago’s amazing variety. It includes the world-class vertical walls of Kal’s Dream, the colorful coral gardens of School Point, and the interesting muck diving sites full of rare creatures like the flamboyant cuttlefish and a lot of pygmy seahorses. The longer time is important for seeing Alor’s isolated beauty, as it lets you dive at several pristine places that are far away from other people. This 11-day Alor liveaboard is the best choice for professional divers and underwater photographers who want to see everything of this beautiful marine wonderland. It includes exciting pelagic encounters and some of the most diverse macro life on the globe.

The 11-day trip is the right pace for both seeing Alor’s stunning seascapes and getting to know the people who live there in traditional villages. This gives you a rare look at a way of life that hasn’t changed in centuries. On the MV Tiare, which is known for being stable and having a skilled crew, you’ll spend your days sailing through clear channels and your evenings lounging on deck, swapping stories with volcanic peaks in the background. We loved living on board in Komodo. Our team was great, especially Randy and Agar. The rooms are big and comfy. The dive guides are one thing that could be better. They were extremely nice, but they weren’t very good at what they did. One of the guides disregarded a basic safety regulation by pushing a diver down from the surface during one of the dives. Sadly, both dive guides also disturbed wildlife by “poking” and breaking off some coral. It was sad to witness. Overall, it was a terrific time.
