Your adventure begins on day one as our staff welcomes you upon arrival at Manado Airport and transfers you to the White Manta. Depending on your arrival time, you’ll have the opportunity to embark on one or two critter dives in Lembeh, setting the stage for an unforgettable journey.
Over the following days, immerse yourself in the rich marine diversity of the Manado coaster Islands and Pulau Sambit, where muck diving offers the chance to encounter unique critters and marine species. Dive into the crystal-clear waters around Maratua Island, where massive schools of chevron barracudas and big-eye jacks await, along with the possibility of spotting hammerhead sharks.
Continue your exploration with dives around Kakaban, featuring stunning wall dives and a visit to the mesmerizing freshwater Jellyfish Lake. Marvel at the beauty of Sangalaki’s underwater world, where manta rays and turtles abound, and witness the awe-inspiring sight of baby turtles hatching and making their dash to the sea.
Conclude your diving adventure with the exhilarating search for whale sharks at local fishing “bagans” on day nine, followed by a leisurely sail back to Tg Batu Port on day ten. Spend your last night aboard the White Manta in the harbor, enjoying plenty of time to wash and dry equipment, relax, and prepare for your departure. On day ten, bid farewell to your fellow divers as you check out and transfer to the local hotel or Berau Airport, departing with cherished memories of your extraordinary underwater journey in Indonesia.

Day 3. (3 dives) Muck Diving along Manado coaster Islands, long overnight crossing to Pulau Sambit
Day 4-5. (4 dives x2 days) Diving around Pulau Sambit.
Day 6. (3-4 dives) Diving around Maratua island; huge schools of chevron barracudas, and big-eye jacks at the mouth of the channel. Look out for the shark action with possible sightings of hammerhead sharks too!
Day 7. (4 dives) Diving around Kakaban with stunning wall dives & visiting the amazing freshwater Jellyfish lake.
Day 8. (3-4 dives) Diving around Sangalaki looking for manta rays, turtles & more! We also have a chance to visit the beach to watch hatching baby turtles make their dash to the sea!
Day 9. (1-2 dives) Looking for whale sharks at local fishing “bagans” then sail back to Tg Batu Port Sailing time 5 hours. Last night sleeping on White Manta in the harbor. Plenty of time to wash & dry equipment, rest & relaxation, and if need be, an early flight on Trip Departure day.
Day 10. (0 dives) 6am-8am. Check out after a light breakfast, farewells, and transfer to the local hotel or Berau Airport (recommended Garuda
Day 1. (0 dives) 2 pm, trip departure day. Our staff will meet you upon your arrival at Tarakan Airport or a local hotel and transfer you to the awaiting White Manta. Warm welcome & briefing while we sail to Derawan (9-11 hours). Note: There is no diving on trip departure day. The first dives will take place on the first morning, usually at Derawan Island for check-out dives.
Day 2. (3-4 dives) Diving around Sangalaki looking for manta rays, turtles & more! We also have a chance to visit the beach to watch hatching baby turtles make their dash to the sea!

Day 8. (3 dives) Muck Diving along Manado coastal Islands.
Day 9. (2 dives) Lembeh. Best muck diving in the world. Plenty of time to wash & dry equipment, have lunch, and rest & relaxation. Sail back to Bitung Port, Manado.
Day 10. (0 dives) 6-10 am. Check out after breakfast, farewells, and transfer to the airport. Departure from Bitung Port, Manado to a local hotel or transfer to Manado Airport.
