Then, you’ll cruise north to see the volcanic wonders around Ternate Island. On the sumptuous White Manta, you may go on up to four dives a day with skilled operators. You’ll see everything from tiny seahorses and mimic octopuses in Lembeh to spectacular mantas and schooling barracudas throughout Ternate’s pristine reefs. The 11-day trip gives you plenty of time to explore these unique underwater worlds in depth. Between dives, you can rest in your comfortable en-suite stateroom, enjoy delicious meals, and spend time on the large sun deck.

Experience: Advanced Open Water – 30 minimum logged dives required.
Day 1: (0-2 dives) 1 pm
Our staff will meet you upon arrival at Manado Airport & transfer you to White Manta. Depending on arrival time, we can do check dive(s) plus night dive in Lembeh. After critter dive(s), we sail overnight to Pulau Tifore.
Day 2: (3 dives) Pulau Tifore
Amazing dive site island in the Moluccan Sea equidistant from Halmahera & Lembeh, schools of jacks, snappers, and a massive school of barracuda. Sail to North Ternate.
Day 3: (3 dives) Pulau Hiri, North Ternate
This rocky island just north of Ternate is a haven for marine life and colorful coral reefs, a great spot for both beginner and experienced divers. Sail north overnight.
Day 4: (3-4 dives) Loloda Bay & Kahatola
Reef slopes, steep walls, tunnels, overhangs, all covered with a vast variety of soft corals, regular encounters with black tip sharks, tuna, barracuda, jacks, and more.
Day 5: (3-4 dives) Pulau Bau & Morotai
Imposing walls, canyons, sloping reefs with vibrant coral, and solid drift dives provide a stunning backdrop to encounter manta rays, sharks, and more; you may even spot the dugongs! There are also some amazing macro dives, plus the possibility of exploring a WWII wreck.
Day 6-7: (4 dives x 2 days) Pulau Morotai & Metita
With over 40 mapped dive sites, there is something here for everyone.
Day 8: (3-4 dives) Pulau Doi/ Dagasuli
Exploration dives south of Morotai Island.
Day 9: (3 dives)
Tracing the northern coast back towards Ternate. A chance to explore this remote & less visited destination where more & more operators are reporting some amazing dive sites to explore.
Day 10: (2 dives) Pulau Tidore:
Final dives here, then a village visit. Sail to Ternate, where you spend the last night on board. Plenty of time to wash & dry equipment, have lunch, rest & relaxation, and if needed, an early flight the next day.
Day 11:
Check out (between 5 am-10 am) after a light breakfast & farewells, and transfer to local hotel or airport. Departure from Ternate to Manado/ Makassar/ or Jakarta.

Our staff will meet you upon your arrival at Ternate Airport and transfer you to White Manta. Once all guests are on board, you’ll receive a warm welcome, a safety briefing, and dinner. Depending on arrival time, dive(s) at Pulau Hiri, North Ternate: a rocky island haven for marine life and colorful coral reefs, ideal for both beginner and experienced divers. Sail north overnight.
Day 2: (3–4 dives) Loloda Bay & Kahatola
Reef slopes, steep walls, tunnels, and overhangs are covered with a vast variety of soft corals. Expect regular encounters with blacktip sharks, tuna, barracuda, jacks, and more.
Day 3: (3 dives) Pulau Hiri, North Ternate
Returning briefly south to revisit and further explore Pulau Hiri. This second chance at diving this vibrant site allows for varied topography and marine life exploration, especially for macro enthusiasts. Sail overnight north to Pulau Bau & Morotai.
Day 4: (3–4 dives) Pulau Bau & Morotai
Imposing walls, canyons, sloping reefs with vibrant coral, and thrilling drift dives provide the backdrop for manta rays, sharks, and possibly even dugongs. Excellent macro opportunities and potential WWII wreck exploration.
Day 5–6: (4 dives/day) Pulau Morotai & Metita
With over 40 mapped dive sites, this region offers something for everyone—from macro hunting to pelagic action and historic wrecks.
Day 7: (3–4 dives) Pulau Doi / Dagasuli
Exploration dives in these remote areas south of Morotai, ideal for adventurous divers looking to discover new underwater treasures.
Day 8: (3 dives) Northern Halmahera Coast
Tracing the coast back toward Ternate with stops at rarely visited sites, now gaining attention for their pristine reefs and growing marine biodiversity.
Day 9: (3 dives) Pulau Tifore
A stunning seamount in the Moluccan Sea with massive schools of barracuda, jacks, and snappers. A must-see pelagic dive experience.
Sail overnight to Lembeh.
Day 10: (2 dives) Lembeh Strait
Final dives at Angel’s Window and Nudi Retreat, the most iconic muck diving sites in the world. Sail to Bitung Port, Manado, for your final night on board. Time to wash and dry equipment, rest, and prepare for disembarkation.
Day 11:
Check out (between 5 am-10 am) after a light breakfast & farewells, and transfer to the airport. Departure from Bitung Port, Manado to local hotel or transfer to Manado Airport.

It felt right that our staff was all Indonesian. They took care of all my gear after each dive. A lot of food, and most of it was good. The boat was quite big and cozy. As always, we are all in charge of our own safety, and some of the dive sites have strange strong currents.
