This trip was awesome. Nacho runs the boat in a nice and professional way. He and his team worked extra hard to make sure everyone was comfortable while they were diving at Raja Ampat. The photography area was great. We could leave our gear there, on our own workstations, ready for the next dive. My cabin was on the top level, and it was quite comfortable, spacious, and had access from both inside and outside. As you’d expect from good liveaboards, the food was good, diverse, and plenty. The White Manta is an excellent boat. We had a hard night voyage, but it handled it quite well. The boat isn’t brand new, and some parts could use a little attention, but everything functioned well and we were extremely comfortable. I actually liked it better than the newer one I used in the Philippines. It was more fun and relaxing. We also had a great group of people on board. This is just luck, but maybe it brings in the proper kind of clients for me. The crew was great, and I’m especially thankful to Nacho and Ricky. The DM and the kind guy who cleaned our room both did a great job. Last but not least, each DM was in control of four divers, which is better than other liveaboards where you could have six divers per DM. No bother or BS, just good diving and service. I will be pleased to come back.
