Day 1Bali - Sanur Arrival

Arrive this afternoon at Ngurah Rai International Airport in Denpasar where you will be greeted by your local Exo Travel guide and driver for your private transfer to Sanur.
After checking in to your hotel, there is time to relax, freshen up or do a bit of exploring on your own.
Dinner at leisure.
Overnight in Sanur.

Day 2Jewelry Making Workshop (B,L,D)

This morning after a late breakfast you are picked up by the driver and tour guide for the short transfer to the jewelry studio where you will learn how to make your own silver jewels.
Start with a short video which shows: Jewelry through the ages. Next some info on health and safety practices before you get taught how to make jewelry and start with the creation of your own unique design (5 grams of silver per person included) with the help of course of two professional jewelry makers.

Note: this workshop is suitable for children from 10 year up.

A simple lunch is served in the studio.
Following lunch, return to the hotel for an afternoon at leisure.
Overnight in Sanur.

Day 3Cruise to Nusa Lembongan (B,L)

This morning, you will be picked up from your hotel around 07:30 and transfer (join-in transfer) to Benoa Harbor.
Arrive at the harbor where your motor catamaran awaits and you’ll depart for this fun day trip to the nearby islet of Nusa Lembongan (1,5h cruise per way).
On the way to the island you’ll be served light snacks and beverages. You’ll arrive on Nusa Lembongan, an island oasis of white beaches and clear waters. The day is yours to spend as you wish. For water-sports lovers there are activities such as snorkeling and a glass-bottom boat ride for reef viewing. Also a ‘mangrove tour’ with a small boat is an option. You can bring a visit to the island’s village for a glimpse into the local lifestyles and see an underground house (actually dug out by hand) or visit the seaweed farm.
There is also the option of simply relaxing on the beach in the sun or shade along the shoreline or in the pool at the beach club.
A barbecue buffet lunch will be served midday with a glass of wine or beer.
Around 16:00, the boat will depart for the journey back to Benoa harbor. Light snacks and drinks will be served onboard. When reaching the shore, you will be transferred back to your hotel.

Note: This tour will only be available on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday; the itinerary can be adjusted according to your travelling date.

We recommend wearing shorts and swimming gear, towel, sunglasses, hat and sunscreen. Bring a change of clothes for after the activities. Shower and toilet are available.

Overnight in Sanur.

Day 4Sanur - Kintamani - Tampak Siring - Gunung Kawi - Ubud (B,L)

Today after breakfast and check out, you are picked up by the driver and tour guide for some interesting sightseeing after which you are dropped off at your hotel in Ubud.
The route to the volcanic Batur Lake and the small village of Kintamani on the rim of the caldera leads via small scenic roads offering amazing panoramas over the beautiful rice fields and landscape (around 2 hours from Sanur)
Arrive at Kintamani where the still active Mount Batur is standing with its breathtaking views. Adjacent to the volcano is the large crescent-shaped Batur Lake, all surrounded by the high walls of the crater rim.
Stop for a buffet lunch at a local restaurant with all-encompassing views over Lake Batur.
On the way to Ubud, stop in Tampak Siring and visit the unique temple of Gunung Kawi. Set amidst lush rice terraces, these 11th century temples feature 10 rock-cut candi (shrines) carved into the cliff face. They stand at 7-metre-high and combine ancient Hindu and Buddhist temple attributes. There are numerous stairs leading down to the Temple.

Note: to access the temple, about 300 stairs have to be mastered.

Visit also the holy spring temple of Tirta Empul, with its ponds of sacred cleansing water. It is said that the former president Soekarno liked to observe the bathing people from the presidential guest house which is built just atop the valley. The Balinese visit this spring for ritual purification.

Note: you have opportunity to bath here. The water can be quite chilly. Changing facilities are extremely basic and barely offer any privacy. It is required to wear decent dress, such as a sarong, when entering the ponds.

Day 5Ubud (B)

Breakfast at hotel and enjoy today at leisure with choice of optional activities as follow:

OPTIONAL ACTIVITY: Ayung River Rafting
After breakfast at hotel, depart on a join-in transfer for today’s activity at Ayung River.
Upon arrival at the starting point, the rafting guides will give you a helmet, lifejacket, and paddle; and then provide a safety briefing and also explain and demonstrate paddling techniques. A ‘dry bag’ will be provided to protect your valuables and dry clothes.
Then it’s time to start paddling! (max. 4 passengers + 1 guide per raft) You will cover 10 kilometers on the Ayung River over approximately 90 minutes. The trip is divided into two parts with a rest stop on the riverbanks at the halfway point.
Reaching the take out point, you will be greeted with a cup of hot tea. There are showers, towels and toilet facilities available. You will be treated to a late buffet Indonesian lunch in a restaurant. (L)

Note: This rafting is a soft rafting (level 2-3) and is possible for children starting from 7 years and older. We recommend wearing shorts and swimming gear, hat and sunscreen. Bring a change of clothes for after the rafting.

This morning, you will be picked up from your hotel lobby at 07:30 and transferred to Carang Sari. This traditional Balinese Village is located in the Tabanan regency, in the island’s interior.
Upon arrival relax with morning tea in the tranquil local surroundings. The cycling guides will provide a safety briefing, describe the route and demonstrate how to use the bike’s gears and brakes.
Set off on 2-hour cycling adventure! You’ll cover approximately 17 kilometers with several stops along the way. Cruise through untouched rice terraces and villages dotted with traditional houses and temples. Stop to meet friendly locals, take photos of scenic spots and learn about the local culture. Pass through Sangeh, a monkey forest where you’ll meet the cheeky inhabitants.
Reaching the finish point, the vehicles are standing by to take you to a local restaurant for an Indonesian buffet lunch. Afterwards you will be transferred back to your hotel. (L)

Day 6Ubub - Taman Sari Buwana - Munduk (B,L)

This morning at 08:00, check out from hotel and depart for today’s excursion.
Start with experiencing local Balinese life while supporting a community-based tourism project in the village of Tunjuk. Visit the village home base where the elders will teach how to make a variety of traditional Balinese temple offerings by weaving palm fronds. Take a guided walk through the compound to learn more about the sustainable set up of a Balinese community and the animals, fruits and herbs that occur in family gardens.
Walk with the local farmers to their rice fields, locally referred as sawah and learn how to plant, transplant or harvest rice (depending of the season). Be prepared for farming activities, wear a farmer’s hat, covering up with mosquito repellent and picking up a local mattock (small farm tool) all provided by the farm. It is recommended to wear flip-flops or similar and bring sunscreen as well.
After farming, take a short walk through the patches of seasonal vegetable and into a small coconut plantation where one of the men from the village will demonstrate their ability to climb up the trees and gather young coconuts for some refreshment – why don’t give a try to climb! Sip young coconut juice from cups sculptured from coconuts shell.
Next, return to the home base and enjoy a delicious lunch.
Continue to Kayuputih Village in Munduk via Belimbing. Check in to the hotel and dinner at leisure.

Day 7Munduk - Village Trekkig - Munduk (B,D)

Breakfast at hotel.
Munduk is the ideal location for outdoor activities and this morning you’ll have the chance to explore with a light trek. Munduk is surrounded by tropical rainforest with beautiful waterfalls and because of its cool temperature (20-25°C) many fruits, vegetables and spices are grown in the area.
Start from your hotel for a nice 2-hour trekking in Munduk to explore the area including numerous plantations (including coffee, cloves and local spices). On the way back stop in the village for tasting local coffee.
Return to the hotel for the afternoon at leisure. Dinner tonight will be served at the hotel’s restaurant.

Day 8Munduk - Bedugul - Bali Treetop - Tamn Ayun - Seminyak (B,L)

After breakfast at hotel, check out and depart with the guide and driver.
Proceed to Bedugul, an area of the central highlands that is famous for its stunning beauty and three lakes. Ascend further to the north into the hills to visit the famous Ulun Danu Temple. Set on an island amid the peaceful water of the Lake Bratan, this temple is one of Bali’s most iconic and photogenic sites.
Visit the traditional market of Bedugul where a myriad of fruits, vegetables and orchids are for sale from the area’s gardens. There are also stalls selling exotic spices and souvenirs.
Continue to Bali Treetop Adventure nearby and get ready to climb and swing. A professional guide will explain how the circuit works, how to use the equipment, and will provide all safety instructions as well.
Go on any of the circuits of Bali Treetop Adventure Park and it is recommended to start with the lowest category, Green Discovery Circuit, before trying the higher Circuits. There is a variety of activities including: high-flying swings, rope ladders, breath-taking jumps and a 160-meter long zip line (also called ‘Flying Fox’). Some ‘lower ropes’ activities also include ladders and short swings.
The participants will be attached to a life-line support throughout the entire course. Patrol guides will also stand-by along the circuit, ready to advise and assist as needed, giving support from above and below. All circuit platforms are held in place using an innovative compression system to protect trees from any damage. Protective half logs are used to prevent cables from cutting into trees and minimize tree trunk degradation.
After the exhilarating activity, proceed to the hotel in South Bali stopping en route at Mengwi to visit Taman Ayun Temple.
Afterwards transfer to your selected hotel in Seminyak.

Day 9Family Surfing Lesson in Kuta (B)

You will be picked up from your hotel around 08:30 and transferred to Kuta Beach (join-in transfer).
The personal instructor will welcome you and give you rash guards to protect against the sun and provide you with a safety briefing first. After this the teacher will demonstrate and explain some techniques. The well trained instructors will show and teach you the basics of surfing, how to balance, how to paddle, etc. first in a pool and after, once you have an understanding of the basic skills of surfing, the instructors will take you to the beach and try out some of the surfing techniques in the ocean.
The entire session lasts about 2.5 hours and is fully accompanied by an instructor.
There is 2 hours free time after your session to wander the Kuta area before returning to your hotel.

Day 10Seminyak - Uluwatu - Kecak Dance - Jimbaran - Seminyak (B,D)

Breakfast at hotel.
Morning is free at leisure and in the afternoon, depart at 16:00 to visit Uluwatu, a beautiful temple which is set on steep cliffs overlooking the Indian Ocean with a big sacred monkey population. Witness ‘kecak’ dance, a Balinese “fire” dance, which is certainly one of the islands more spectacular ones. Watch the story of the Ramayana while the sun will be setting over the ocean below the cliffs.
Following this spectacular start of the evening, head to Jimbaran and enjoy a scrumptious seafood barbecue dinner on the beach.
Return to the hotel after dinner.
Overnight in Seminyak.

Day 11Departure (B)
