Located in the central highlands of Bali, Kintamani Volcano is an active volcanic masterpiece that has been astonishing travellers for decades. Surrounded by the incredible and captivating Batur range, the volcano and mountain range are collectively known as Mount Batur.

Rising above a vivid landscape of greenery, Mount Batur is comprised of three volcanic cones which are popular for hiking, trekking and watching the sunrise. While it is tempting to linger at the crater, there are a great range of other sightseeing activities on offer in the Kintamani area. If you’re keen for an adventure, take the winding road down to the lake shore through verdant rainforests, visit the sacred Ulun Danu Batur Temple and relax in the alluring Toyobunkah hot spings. These hot springs can reach up to 45 degrees celsius and are known for their mineral waters which are said to have curative powers.

Tirta Empul Temple bequeathed to the people by ancient Rajadom is perhaps one of the most fascinating spot in the area. On the west side of this temple, high on the hill could be found a Presidential palace that was built during Soekarno’s time. Kintamani Volcano View (IDR 30.000 / Person)

Kintamani is a name of countryside located in the hill and the beautiful panorama surround it. We can see beautiful panorama from Kintamani to overview the active volcano of Mt. Batur and wide Lake of Batur in a valley. It is situated in the plateau area with cool weather surround it.
