Meet on the spot or get an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Bali (depending on the option selected), in time to witness the sunrise from the top of Mount Batur. Depart at your chosen time (also depending on your hotel location), and then travel towards the active volcano near Kintamani village. Upon arrival at Mount Batur, get a brief introduction and safety briefing from your guide. All guides are local residents who have experienced climbing Mount Batur since they were children.
Take advantage of their vast knowledge and passion for the region before you embark on the 1.5-hour trek to the crater of Bali’s highest volcano in time to watch the sunrise. On arrival at the summit, enjoy breakfast and enjoy the stunning views of the surrounding area during the rest of the day. After sunrise, take time to stroll around the volcanic crater before crossing the lava hills and black sand. Walk back down the mountain and wash away your aches and pains in the natural hot springs.
If you choose to meet at Mt Batur Lounge, you will be escorted to Mt Batur Lounge. If you chose the transportation option, continue visiting the coffee plantations on your way back to your accommodation before ending your morning.
