Jomblang Cave Tour

This is one of the natural wonders in Yogyakarta. It is 1.5 driving distance from the city of Yogyakarta. Only 80 – 90 people are allowed in each day, and it is very difficult to get a slot in the high season period (April – August) so you have to check with an agent for tickets. Jomblang Cave Tours are arranged with local people who have experience in caving. You start with a 2 by 2 person descent with a double rope system. And then walk 20 minutes on the muddy track to the view point. About 50m before the vantage point you will see the light but sometimes not visible in monsoons.

After enjoying the view you will return to the first hole and many people will pull you up from inside the cave. Near the cave there are many plantations that you can see. At the end of the trip we serve special dishes and you can continue back to the city or go to pindul cave to freshen up. A special note when you want to tour Jomblang Cave is not to bring children under the age of 9 years.
